#1181 - Original Roman Bronze robe fibula from Ukraine
The Romans occupied much of Europe for a few centuries. Their bronze accessories are found all over by relic hunters. Often, bronze "fibula" are recovered. They are a pivoting pin and clasp (hook) for holding closed the togas & robes. These are six bronze fibula recovered in the Ukraine. From 2nd to 4th Century AD. They were shipped out to me just prior to the Russian invasion. The price is for one. Proceeds from their sale will be donated to Ukrainian relief to honor these staunch modern warriors who fight for freedom!
