#450 - Japanese Screen by Rossi

This is a striking image of a Deco flapper standing before an exotic screen. She is putting on her pearl strands to go out. The inks are very vivid. The elongated, stylized shapes are quite Art Deco. This image is 15" x 11 1/2" with large margins to the full sheet. The frame sticker by the US Distributor "SZL" (Sydney Zoltan Lucas) reads Rossi "Chinese Screen", but the French title penciled into the margin reads "Paravent Japonais" Sheet also carries the "SZL" ink stamp and an annotation of 9/350.
