All Items are Shipped/ No Direct Deliveries by Our Staff Costs: All shipping costs of merchandise are paid by the Buyer. Packing: When packed by David Chase Gallery directly, there are no added costs for the process of physically packing the item(s). If item requires special packing by an outside company, then those added costs are paid by the Buyer. Glass: Frames containing glass are sometimes risky to ship. If the glass breaks, despite our precautions in packaging, the artwork is damaged. We therefore recommend removing glass from frames for shipping. You can easily have it replaced at your location. Non-Refund: Shipping costs are non-refundable if merchandise is returned to us. Thus, they are deducted from the total refund. Insurance: All items are shipped "insured" for exactly their purchase price value. Damage: If any item(s) is damaged during shipping, the Insurance coverage will cover the loss or replacement. Notify David Chase Gallery immediately and we will help obtain that insurance money through the Shipping Company or U.S. Mail. Methods: Most smaller items are shipped by U.S.Priority Mail, at a cost of $3.20, plus Insurance. As a rough idea, a typical $100.00 purchase would therefore total $5.00. Pictures, art, lamps, and other "medium" sized items will be sent "U.P.S." Insured via ground; unless buyer specifies and agrees to pay extra for other alternatives, such as U.S.Mail, or faster UPS delivery modes. Furniture, windows, and other large or heavy merchandise, may require substantial shipping fees via Ground Freight, so, we recommend you call and discuss these costs before making the order "official". Foreign Orders: Shipping to outside the USA may involve extra costs and Customs issues. Buyer pays all costs and Customs/Duty fees incurred. Call first to discuss ANY request for shipment to a foreign country. We reserve the right to refuse to sell to any customer outside the USA without specific cause being needed. And, in some cases, certain countries "restrict" certain items & art for political/ cultural reasons. Pickups: We maintain no retail outlet. (Who needs one!!!) But, with prior arrangement, purchases can be picked up by the Buyer in Southeastern Pennsylvania. TAX: Residents of Pennsylvania MUST pay a 6% Sales Tax on the total cost of their purchase, including delivery/shipping fees. Tax Exempt: To be exempt from PA Sales Tax, buyer MUST supply a valid tax resale number on the appropriate PA State form. (Which we can supply.)
